Emma is a self-taught, contemporary artist based in Northern California. Her creative practice spans many skillsets and interests, including drawing, watercolor, fiber arts, and paper crafts, with oil painting as her primary professional focus.
Blending traditional painting techniques with vibrant color and unique textures, her work pushes the limits of the “rules” associated with oil painting.
Many of her pieces explore the emotions associated with grief, abandonment, and loneliness, although recently she has been focusing more on the peaceful and positive.
She enjoys a quiet life with her husband, Great Dane, and several reptiles.
