“HER” was the first piece of a new era for Emma’s work. “I wasn’t really trying to make anything specific, I just started sketching and an hour later there she was.” This piece demonstrates stepping away from the comforts of realism, concrete expression, and detailed work. It was her first attempt at a limited palette; something that has become a staple for most of her pieces.
